What IS INCLUDED?

What are the OPTIONS FOR DINING?

All meals feature exquisite farm-to-table cuisine, served on the dining terraces at the clubhouse.

When are the island MEALTIMES?

○ Breakfast is served from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.
○ Lunch is served at 1:00 pm.
○ Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails are in the Living Room from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
○ Dinner is served at 7:30 pm.

Can you accommodate FOOD ALLERGIES?

Yes. Please notify us in advance of your arrival of any food allergies so that the chef can be advised.

Do you offer room service?

Yes. Room service is available for a surcharge of $50.

What is the dress code for mealtimes?

If you wear a bathing suit to breakfast or lunch, please also wear a cover-up and footwear. At cocktails and dinner, the dress code is resort casual.

Is the WATER DRINKABLE on the island?

Our water is purified through reverse osmosis and is safe to drink. To reduce our footprint of single-use plastics, you will find glass bottles of Guana water in your refrigerator and reusable water bottles in your accommodation.

Can the island accommodate CHILDREN?

Guana Island has been family-owned for 50 years, during which children of all ages have enjoyed the Island. During winter months, we limit the number of children and set up a separate beach area so as not to disturb other guests. Dinner service for families with children under the age of 12 is held at 6:30 pm.

Does the island provide BABYSITTING SERVICES?

Babysitting services are not included, but can be arranged with the Front Desk.

Do you have a STORE on island?

We have a small boutique that sells clothing, hats, sunscreen, basic medical supplies, and forgotten toiletries. If something is still missing, however, it’s possible we can collect it for you from town.

Is there a RESORT SWIMMING POOL?
While there is no resort pool, our three villas and two of our sea view cottages are available with private pools.
Are spa treatments available on the island?

The Hibiscus Spa is open daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Appointments can be made with the Front Desk.

Is there a FITNESS CENTER on island?

While Guana doesn’t have a gym, it does feature 12 miles of hiking trails, walking paths, a fleet of beach toys, and seven beaches for swimming.

What do I need for HIKING on the island?

Suitable footwear for hiking is recommended. Walking sticks, backpacks, and water bottles are provided.

Does the island provide MEDICAL CARE?

There is no doctor on Guana Island. We do, however, have lifesaving equipment and staff who are trained in basic lifesaving techniques. Additionally, we have an emergency service that provides access to a consulting doctor by phone 24/7.

Is there LAUNDRY SERVICE on the island?

We provide limited wash-and-fold services at no charge. Laundry is collected daily in the laundry bags provided in your room and will be returned one to three days later. If you require laundry service beyond a few pieces a day, there may be a charge.

Which BED SIZES do the rooms offer?

All our rooms carry a king-size bed. Twin beds are available in most rooms on request.

Is there INTERNET and CELL PHONE SERVICE on the island?

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Island’s accommodations and public spaces. Cell phones work on the Island. We recommend adding the international day pass. Please refrain from using phones within earshot of other guests.

What electrical standard does the island use?

Electricity and plugs are standard U.S. 110-volt.

When are CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT?

Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am.

Do you offer EARLY CHECK-IN?

You can check in at any time; however, we cannot confirm your room will be ready before 4:00 pm. Once you have arrived, we will store your luggage and you will be free to use all our facilities until your room is ready.

Is LATE CHECK-OUT available?

Late check-outs can be confirmed the day of departure with the Front Desk. If not available, you are welcome to use the facilities and beach house showers until your departure.

How do you get FROM THE AIRPORT to Guana Island?

Our greeter will be waiting for you at the airport with a Guana Island sign. From there, you’ll take a two-minute drive to our marina, where our private boat will be waiting. The boat ride is just 10 minutes to Guana Island. The cost of a transfer from the airport to the Island is $120 per person (round trip).

Is there ON-ISLAND TRANSPORTATION?

On-demand golf cart service is available between the clubhouse and beach house. Our villas come with private golf carts. Alternatively, many guests enjoy the walk, which is only strenuous one way and takes 10–15 minutes.

An 18% tax and resort fee is added to all charges.

Do I need a PASSPORT?

Yes. Guana is part of the British Virgin Islands. A valid passport is required for travel.
